Meet Sara
Sara Stolberg Berkowicz holds certifications from the College of Financial Planning and the Institute for Certified Divorce Financial Analysts. She has worked as a financial planner, investment manager, and tax advisor for over 25 years. Sara gives workshops to the public and to professionals on divorce and financial issues.
While she specializes in divorce planning, she helps clients with a range of financial issues, from college planning to mortgage refinancing, widowhood, and financial literacy and life skills training for new high school and college graduates.
Sara earned a Ph.D in Financial Planning from Kansas State University. The title of her doctoral dissertation was "Does Gray Divorce Delay Retirement?"
Having been through a bitter and complicated divorce herself, Sara has great compassion for those in every step of the process. She has proven herself to be tough enough to stand up to the most tenacious attorney, yet understands the emotional rollercoaster her clients are on.
Sara knows that trust is an essential element of every relationship, especially that between client and financial professional.
